Your help is appreciated

Unlike cemeteries that are supported by individual congregations, funds for operational costs at the Fairview Cemetery are secured from lot and marker sales, interments, gifts, and memorials.

Funds for special projects are generated from donations by current lot owners and friends and family of those interred at Fairview Cemetery.

2010–2011 Fund Drive

Proposed improvements
Key to proposed improvements
Green Road and drainage (ditch cleaning, draintile, and catch basins) improvements
Blue Clean and reshape ditch
Orange Road improvements

The Cemetery Association hopes to raise $180,000 to complete a series of projects that will create a permanent drainage system and provide for a "professional grade" road system that will last for the next 30 years.

Drainage improvements

As is common to most cemeteries, water has a tendency to pool in low areas. This fund drive will help us create a drainage system that will remove standing water, helping it run to a drainage ditch and away from cemetery property.

Road improvements

It has been more than 30 years since the asphalt roads in both the north and south parts of Fairview Cemetery have been surfaced. Much of the equipment used in opening and closing for interments, or for the delivery of vaults, has gotten heavier and bigger. Many spots are breaking up, creating holes that fill with rain water. These areas continue to deepen, and create an uneven surface for driving, walking, and biking. There is approximately 3900 feet of roadway that needs to be resurfaced.
