Obituary

Mrs. H. Anderson Dies in City Thursday Evening

Had Lived Here Since 1903 And Raised Family

Mrs. Hovmand Anderson, resident of Wahpeton since 1903, died on Thursday evening at St. Mary hospital following an illness of several weeks. She had been in poor health several years.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Methodist church, of which she was a member and interment was in Fairview cemetery.

Isabelle Graneng was born Nov. 22, 1880, at Dalton, Minn. She was married to Hovmand Anderson Nov. 5, 1903, at Verndale, Minn. To them were born three children, one son, Arhtur Burnett, dying in infancy.

Surviving are her husband, he daughter, Mrs. Oland Keim, and her son, Herbert Anderson, both of Wahpeton. There is one sister, Mrs. Annie Dybvik, of Brainerd, Minn., one brother, Nels Graneng, of Verndale, Minn., and one grandson, Reynold Keim, who is at present with the naval air forces and stationed at Guam.

Mrs. Anderson had a wide circle of friends in Wahpeton. She was a long time member of Sumner Corps, WR, and of Clover Rebekah lodge, taking an active part in both organizations, as she did in her church.
