A.B. Anderson, County Abstractor Dies Saturday

Funeral Service To Be Tuesday Afternoon From Bethel Church

Albert Bernt Anderson, Richland county abstractor for the past 19 years, dies at his home at 12:37 Saturday morning. He suffered a heart attack while in the country and came home. He passed away a few hours later. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Bethel Lutheran church with Rev. P. A Gisvold officiating.

A.B. Anderson was born May 10, 1883, at Kindred. He was married to Agnes Nelson at Painted Woods, N.D., Sept. 1, 1908. The family resident at Washburn, and came to Wahpeton from Rice Lake, Wis.

Mr Anderson is survived by his wife and four children: Mrs. R. H. (Dorothea) Alexander, of Valley City Edward in the United States navy, Mrs. L. O. (Delores) Johnson of Dallas, Texas and Albert, Jr., at home. There are five grandchildren. Brothers and sisters who survive are: Mrs. James Snyder of Abercrombie, Mrs. W. H. Bakko, Mrs. Albert Bakko, Edward Anderson and Bernard Anderson, all of Walcott, and Adolph and Enoch Anderson of Milwaukee, Wis.

The body will lie in state at Schmitt & Olson chapel here until Tuesday morning when the body will be taken to the Anderson home and thence to the church in time for services. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Flaa, Martin Hatlie, William Schoenecker, Albert Funfar, Vernon Johnson and George Fischer.
