Obituary
Clifford Anderson Dies; Rites In Wahpeton Tuesday
The funeral for Clifford E. Anderson, 52, of 1418 Ave. A. Wahpeton, will be at 1:30 Tuesday in the United Church of Christ. Rev. William F. Dreyer officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of the Christus, Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Clair Blikre, Orlin Bakken, Charles Borchert, Gordon Patterson, James Horton, Wallace Nordgaard, G. W. Haverty and Francis Fritz.
Active pallbearers will be Jewitt Jacobson, Spencer Hokenson, Mitchell Gripentrog, Roy Hackney, Verlin Lundgren and Herman Liberda.Mr. Anderson was born in Minneapolis, Minn., March 31, 1916, where he graduated from high school. He was employed by the North Dakota State School of Science in 1960 and was appointed Director of Placement in 1967.
He was a graduate of Dunwoody Institute, Minneapolis and had attended North Dakota State University and Southern State College, Springfield, So. Dak. He was formerly employed by A.B.M., Chicago, Ill.; Westinghouse Corp., Minneapolis; B and F Electric, Detroit Lakes, Minn., and owned and operated a sports shop and resort near Detroit Lakes prior to moving to Wahpeton.
He leaves his wife, Kathleen, a daughter, Heidi, 15; his father, Andrew E. Anderson, Minneapolis, one sister, DeLores Powley, Minneapolis and two nieces and one nephew. His mother preceded him in death.
