Harry Anderson Dwight Farmer, Dies Friday

Funeral services were held today (Monday) at Vertin’s Chapel, Wahpeton, for Harry Anderson 66, lifetime resident of Dwight township who died suddenly Friday morning at his farm home. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Walter Jardine and Gilbert Reese officiated at the services. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Wahpeton.

Organist was Mrs. F. D Brown and vocalists were Mr. and Ms. Richard Peterson.

Pallbearers were Arthur Osmundson, Harry J. Anderson, Andrew Sletten, Arthur Johnson and Clinton Kurtz.

Born July 17, 1895 near Dwight he married Cleo Berndt Oct 22, 1926. He attended a Fargo Mechanical trade school and was employed by the Dwight Farm and Land Co., for a time. He had farmed at Dwight the last 20 years.

He leaves his wife, four sons and three daughters, Harry and Mrs. Earl (Elaine) Wold, both Wahpeton, Dwight of Dwight; Donald and Eldow, both Howard Lake, Minn., DeLoris, Fargo, and Mrs. Thomas (Mavis) Morgan, Hope, N.D.; a sister and two brothers, Oswald and Mrs. Oscar (Lydia) Nelson, both Seattle, and Maurice of Swift Current, Sask., and 10 grandchildren.
