Obituary

Mrs. Barringer Rites Conducted in Breckenridge

Funeral services for Mrs. Percy (Nella) Barringer, Everdale, were held Saturday from the Methodist church in Breckenridge with Rev. Roy Harris officiating. Interment was made in the family lot in Fairview Cemetery. Jos. Vertin and Sons Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Barringer died Tuesday at St. Francis hospital at the age of 50 years. Born Feb. 25, 1903 in Andrea township in Wilkin county, she attended school and grew to womanhood in this community. She married Percy Barringer Oct. 14, 1924 at Breckenridge. The couple farmed in Andrea township for a number of years until moving to Everdale where Mr. Barringer operates a grain elevator.

She was a member of the Methodist church of Foxhome and the Auxiliary of the Eagles Lodge in Wahpeton.

Besides her husband she leaves a son, Sgt. Ronald Barringer in the U.S. Army in Alaska and a daughter, Mrs. Glen (Lois) Moir of VanCouver, Wash. Other survivors include a brother, Ole Vick of Vergas, Minn.; and three sisters, Mrs. Milo (Emma) Peterson of Richmond, Calif.; Mrs. Fred (Minnie) Marshall of Alberta, Can., and Mrs. Edwin (Clara) Braun of St. Paul.

A sister and her parents preceded her in death.
