Mrs. Mary Blading Buried Here Sunday
Widow of Late James C. Blanding Dies at Butte, Montana Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Blanding, widow of the late James C. Blanding, were held Sunday afternoon at the Blanding home west of town. Rev. R. D. Hall officiating. Mrs. Blanding died in Butte, Mont., Friday following an emergency operation. The body was accompanied here by Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Rae, the latter a cousin of the deceased.
Mary Strom was born in Sweden in 1869 and came to Minnesota as a girl of 16. In 1895 she was married to James Blanding and they made their home in Montana, being located at Gardiner for many years.
Interment was in Fairview Cemetery where her husband, who preceded her in death two years ago, also lies.
