Obituary
Farmer Victim Of Heart Attack
George Blomer, 47, Mooreton township farmer, died unexpectedly about 5 o’clock. Death was attributed to a heart attack. A Wahpeton doctor and Vertin ambulance were summoned after he became suddenly ill but he was dead when they arrived at the farm.
Mr. Blomer, a former Wheaton resident, had lived on the farm near Mooreton only since last April.
Survivors besides his wife include two sons, George Dale and Allan, both at home, a daughter, Joanne Blomer, Houston, Tex., two brothers, John of Barrett, Minn., and Henry of St. Paul, and a sister, Bertha.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30p.m., at First Congregational church in Wahpeton. Interment will be at Fairview cemetery; Vertin’s, Wahpeton, is in charge.
