Obituary
Funeral Services Held Here for Ewald Boettcher
Funeral services were held today (Monday) for Ewald H. “Pete” Boettcher, 58, a native of Wahpeton who died Friday in a local hospital. Services were held in the Grace Lutheran church in Breckenridge.
Rev. F. C. Schmidt officiated at the services and interment was in Fairview Cemetery at Wahpeton.
Born in Wahpeton July 29, 1903, Mr. Boettcher married Loretta Mayer Feb 10, 1925. He was employed with the Globe Gazette printing company until 1928, when he moved to Crosby, N.D., and later was a bookbinder in Milwaukee. Mrs. Boettcher died in 1958 and he returned here last April.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Robert Seisco, Phoenix, Ariz., and four grandchildren: a brother, Ervin, of Sheboygan, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Leo (Jean) Baumer, Breckenridge and Mrs. Herbert (Elizabeth) Worner, Wahpeton; and two half-brothers, John Radtke of Sheboygan and Charles of Eagle Lake, Minn.
Serving as pallbearers were R. W. Pelvit, Marvin Thimjon, Kermit Lee, Joseph Baumer, John Vaughn and William Worner.
Dianne Holmes was the organist and Sandra Korinek was the vocalist. Vertin’s-Wahpeton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
