Mrs. Boettcher Funeral Service In City Friday
Mrs. Ewald (Loretta) Boettcher, 55, of Milwaukee, Wis., a former resident of this community, died Tuesday at Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, in the Grace Lutheran church in Breckenridge with Rev. K. H. Roever of Breckenridge officiating. Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery at Wahpeton. Vertin Funeral Home of Wahpeton is handling funeral arrangements
The body is to arrive in Wahpeton Thursday afternoon. Visitation will be held in the Vertin Chapel Thursday evening and Friday morning. Loretta Mayer was born February 4, 1903, in Wahpeton where she attended schools and grew to womanhood. She was employed as a waitress at the inn Harris café for some time and also as a receptionist for Dr. H. H. Pfister.
She married Mr. Boettcher in Immanuel Lutheran church here in 1925. While living here, he was employed at the Globe Gazette Printing Co, and also managed the National Tea Co., store in Wahpeton.
In 1928 they moved to Crosby, N.D., where they resided until moving to Milwaukee. Mrs. Boettcher managed a ladies ready to wear store in Milwaukee. She had been in failing health the past two years.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Carol) Seisco of Phoenix, Ariz., a brother, Harold Mayer of Wahpeton and three grandchildren.
