Obituary
Emma Brandon
Funeral services for Emma Brandon, 76, of Wahpeton, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vertin's Chapel, Wahpeton, with Herbert Beth officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
She died Sunday at Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center.
Special music for the service will be provided by Richard Peterson and Kenneth Wahlen.
Casket bearers are Curtis and Bruce Olson, Paul Lackman, Earl Wold, Dwight Anderson, and Roger Slotten.
Visitation is Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until the service at Vertin's West Chapel, Wahpeton.
She was born Nov. 14, 1896, at Galchutt, to Charlie and Julia Brandon. She attended local schools and business college in Fargo. She lived on the home farm where she cared for her mother until the '40s, when she moved to Seattle to work as a secretary for Boeing.
She returned to Wahpeton in 1960 and lived at the Leach Home before moving to the Rehabilitation Center.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by two brothers, Clarence and Leo, and three sisters, Mrs. Clara Olson, Mrs. Agnes Jacobson, and Mrs. Anna Chandler.
