The end came peacefully to George Brendel, 32, of Breckenridge, Tuesday morning at 2:40 at St. Francis hospital, after having suffered excruciating pain for several days. He had been a patient at the hospital for seven weeks, having previously undergone examination and an operation at the Mayo clinic at Rochester, Minn. He leaves a wife and three children, the oldest 10 and the youngest about 5.
He is a nephew of Mrs. John J. Zentrgraf and Mrs. Herman Gast, the later on the W. E. Purcell farm. He was an employe of the Great Northern railroad. The funeral was held yesterday, first at the home at Breckenridge, and then at Immanuel Lutheran church, Wahpeton, the Rev. R. J Becker officiating.
