Obituary
Wade Bruvold
Private funeral services will be held Saturday for Wade Douglas Bruvold, 20, Wahpeton, at Vertin's-Wahpeton Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Olson officiating. Mr. Bruvold died Thursday of a gunshot wound according to Richland County Coroner Dr. J.T. Blackwelder.
Visitation will be from 7 until 9 tonight, Friday, and Saturday morning until noon at Vertin's Wahpeton West Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
He was born June 3, 1955 at Fergus Falls, Minn., to Peter and Gerry (Jensen) Bruvold. The family moved to Wahpeton in 1964 where he attended local schools and the State School of Science. He was confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his parents, four brothers, Roger of Fargo, and Reynold, Peder and Brett, all at home; one sister, Sabrina, at home; and grandmother Mrs. Mabel Irwin, St. Francis Home, Breckenridge. (Vertin's Wahpeton)
