Obituary
Erick Burnson Of Wahpeton Is Dead
Erick Burnson, well known pioneer resident of this city, passed away Sunday. He had been ill for two months. He died at the Wahpeton hospital. Funeral services are to be conducted Wednesday afternoon at two from Bethel Lutheran church and burial will be in Wahpeton. Mr. Burnson was born Sept 18, 1860, in Wisconsin and came to Ibsen township in Richland county where he pre-empted a claim in 1881. He lived there until 1906 when he homesteaded in Adams county. He came to Wahpeton in 1909 where he worked as a carpenter until recently. He is survived by his brother, Andrew, of Manitee, Fla., and sisters, Mrs. Erick N. Hovland of McFarland, Wis., Mrs. R. Dillon of Fargo, and Mrs. Dora Quamme of Wahpeton. Pallbearers will be nephews; James, Herbert, Arthur, Theodore and Harvey Quamme and A. S. Burnson. The body is at Schmitt and Olson funeral parlor.
