Obituary
William Burton, pioneer, passed away at the county farm Tuesday afternoon at the age of 78. Mr. Burton was born in England, Jan. 18, 1867 and came to the United States via Canada in the territorial days. He settled for a time in Detroit, Michigan before coming to North Dakota where he became a citizen.
Mr. Burton at one time was employed on the Olaf Tew farm and later was in partnership in the Burton and Gudger farm.
The only known relative is a sister who lives near Montreal, Canada. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
