Gertrude Bohn

The funeral for Mrs. Elmer (Gertrude) Bohn, 50, of Wahpeton, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Edward J. Rutter officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bohn died Monday at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge.

Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until 11 a.m. at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Tuesday. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Casket bearers will be Lloyd and Harold Bohn, LeRoy Marohl, Gary Prochnow, Roger Rustad and Delmer Witt.

Gertrude Winkler was born Aug. 1, 1925 at Blumenstein, Switzerland to Johaan and Margaret (Ruffner) Winkler. She came to the United States and Wahpeton in 1948 to work for her late uncle, Art Ruffner.

She married Elmer A. Bohn Aug. 1, 1961. They have lived in Wahpeton since their marriage. She was employed at the State School of Science cafeteria.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.

Survivors are her husband; two sisters. Mrs. Marguerite Oster and Mrs. Martha Weber, both of Switzerland; and a brother, Ernest Winkler, also of Switzerland.
