Hannah Carlson
WAHPETON - Hannah Carlson, 92, formerly of Dwight, died Sunday at the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center where she and her sister, Mrs. Jean Sjoquist had resided for several years. Funeral services will be at 2 Wednesday in Vertin's-Wahpeton Chapel with Kenneth Olson officiating. Special music will be by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Peterson. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening and until time of services at Vertin's-Wahpeton Chapel.
Miss Carlson was born Sept. 28, 1878, at Dwight, the daughter of Clemens and Anna Carlson. She was educated there and taught school in the Dwight area and served as postmistresss. She had also served on the Town Board. She had never married. In later years, she lived with her sister, Mrs. Jean Sjoquist, who died Dec. 12, 1971. She was a member of the Non-Demonimational Christian Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
