Obituary
Paul Craig
Services for Paul Craig, 63, of rural Breckenridge, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Joseph Vertin & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Breckenridge with John Li Puman officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Mr. Craig died Saturday at Breckenridge.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 p.m. this afternoon (Monday), continuing through the evening and Tuesday until time of services.
Paul Craig was born Sept. 5, 1014 at Sundance Wyo. He grew up and attended school at Bridgeport, Neb. and graduated from high school at Boulder, Colo.
He served in the U.S. Army in the Philippines during World War II as a motor pool sergeant.
He married Edna Murphy Dec. 11, 1944 at Lawton, Okla. After his discharge, the couple moved to Minnesota and in 1951 moved to Breckenridge where he was a trucker for the P.J. Schweitzer Co. and later for WilRich, Inc.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2749.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, John of Minneapolis and James of Pompano Beach, Fla.; five daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Berverly) Barton of Pelican Rapids, Minn., Mrs. William (Donna) Marts of West Fargo, Mrs. Gary (Susie) Kast of Wahpeton; and Alice and Mary at home; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Mr. Craig died Saturday at Breckenridge.
Casket bearers were Gabe Hermes, Elroy Johnson, Jack Reily, LaVern Schuster, Peter Stollenwerk and Ellert Wilson.
