Obituary
Mrs. Donley, 43, Wahpeton, Dies
Mrs. Ralph W. (Amy) Donley, 43, of Wahpeton died Sunday in Breckenridge. The funeral will be at 2 Tuesday in the Bethel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton with the Rev. Marvin L. Hartmann officiating. Organist will be Mrs. Vernon Hektner and vocalist will be Steve Wateland. Interment will be in the Garden of the Christus, Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening at Vertin’s-Wahpeton Funeral Home with a prayer service at 8 p.m. and visitation at the church Tuesday from 1 until the time of service.
Amy Lucille Johnson was born Feb. 9, 1925, at Sabin, Minn., the daughter of Nels and Ida Johnson. She was raised in that area until moving to a farm near Breckenridge.
She married at Breckenridge in June, 1944 and was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church. The coupe farmed south of Wahpeton until moving to Wahpeton in 1958.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, Dennis of Minneapolis, Dale, Curtis and Scott, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Johnson of Wahpeton.
Also surviving are three sisters, Ms. Ole (Beatrice) Leiseth and Mrs. Allan (Violet) Richard of Moorhead, Mrs. Martin (Lorraine) Boock of Wahpeton and one brother, Norman, of Wahpeton.
