Marlys Joan Ehrens Is Whooping Cough Victim Tuesday

Services For Year Old Baby Will Be Held Friday from Dwight Church

Funeral services for Marlys Joan Ehrens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Ehrens, will be held from the Dwight Lutheran Church, Friday afternoon at two. Rev. S. C. B. Knutsen will be in charge.

The little girl who was a year and a month old, is the first victim of whooping cough in this community for some time. Immediate cause of death was bronchial pneumonia which developed from whooping cough.

Marlys Jean Ehrens was born May 23, 1939 in Dwight township and had lived there continuously. She was the daughter of M.r and Mrs. August Ehrens. Death came July 16 at 11:45 p.m.

Burial will be made at Fairview cemetery here at Wahpeton.
