Obituary
Anna Erickson Dies Friday
Miss Ann Erickson, 87, Wahpeton, died early Friday morning at St Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:30 CST from Vertin’s Wahpeton. Rev. Marvin L. Hartmann officiating.
She was born in Willmar, Minn., Oct. 20, 1878. She moved with her parents to Abercrombie area when she was five years old. She was a dressmaker at Abercrombie, Fargo and later at Wahpeton. She retired in 1946 and continued to live here. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
A prayer service at Vertin’s Wahpeton will be tonight (Saturday) at 7:30 p.m. with visitation that afternoon and evening.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Peter (Carrie) Larson of Wahpeton, and a niece, Mrs. Astor (Mildred) Tellberg of Breckenridge. Also surviving are several other nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were one sister and five brothers.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
