Rites Wednesday for Mrs. Erickson In This City
Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence Erickson, who died at Laurel, Montana, Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vernon Kinn, will be held from Schmitt & Poulton Funeral Home in this city Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock. Rev. Hanson, of Breckenridge, will officiate at the last rites.
Goldie Danielson was born at Barton, N.D., April 15, 1902. She was orphaned at ten years of age and reared by a great aunt and uncle, the John Fjarfies at Berwick, N.D.
She was married to Lawrence Erickson in 1920 at Alberta, Canada. They moved to Hannaford, N.D. where he was Great Northern agent. He died June 30, 1950 and sine then she has been making her home with her daughters. She was a member of the Lutheran church.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Bruce Achland (Doris) of Minneapolis; Mrs. Leonard Haugen (Ina), Mrs. Vernon Kinn (Vivian) of Laurel and Mrs. Herman Hareland (Merna) of the city. There are 11 grandchildren.
