Orin Ebel

HANKINSON, N.D. - Services for Orin William Ebel, 65, will be here Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Union Congregational Church with Rev. Doyle Buss officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.

Mr. Ebel died Saturday afternoon at Hankinson.

Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday until noon at Wipperman Funeral Home, Hankinson. There will be a prayer service there at 8 p.m. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Orin William Ebel was born Nov. 10, 1910 at rural Hankinson to Charles and Elsie (Krause) Ebel. He was baptized and confirmed at Emmanuel United Church of Christ. He grew up on the farm and attended rural schools.

He was married to Lila Eichhorn Dec. 10, 1932 at Wahpeton. After marriage the couple lived in Hankinson where he did carpenter work. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad for 30 years, retiring in 1972. They continued to live in Hankinson.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Duane of Richfield, Minn., Donald of Bloomington, Minn., and Dale of Jordan, Minn.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Myrna Lee) Muellenbach of Wahpeton; four grandchildren; three brothers, Roy of White Bear Lake, Minn., Elmer of St. Charles, Ill., and Norman of Minneapolis; and one sister, Mrs. Ray (Alice) Carlson of St. Paul.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
