Obituary
Ethel Enkers, 84, Breckenridge, died Saturday, July 21, at St. Francis Hospital, Breckenridge. The funeral will be at 11 Tuesday at Breckenridge Lutheran Church, Rev. Eugene Floistad officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton.
Visitation is this afternoon and evening (Monday) at Joseph Vertin and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, Breckenridge, and at the church for the hour prior to the service.
She was born Aug. 28, 1899 to Christian and Bertha (Bergum) Paulson at Dwight, N.D., where she attended school. She worked as a waitress in the Breckenridge and Wahpeton area. She married William Enkers April 3, 1934 at Breckenridge. He died in 1977.
She was a member of Breckenridge Lutheran Church and the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include a sister and three brothers, Mrs. Jean Page, Breckenridge; Barney, Breckenridge; Frank, Rochester, Minn., and Alvin, Brownsville, Texas.
