Obituary
William F. Enochson
William F. Enochson, 53, died Saturday, Feb. 28. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 3, 2 p.m., at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton, Rev. Ernest Bartels officiating. Burial will be Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon and evening, March 2, and Tuesday until 11 a.m. There will also be visitation at the church prior to services. A prayer service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
William Ford Enochson was born May 11, 1927 at Breckenridge to Carl and Angeline (Matthias) Enochson. He was raised in Four Buttes, Mont., and following this father's death he returned to Wahpeton. He graduated from Wahpeton High School and from the North Dakota State School of Science. He served in the Air Force during World War II and the Korean War, and married Mavis Koppelman on Sept. 1954, at Wahpeton. He was employed at Erickson Plumbing and Heating in Breckenridge, Soltis Sheet Metal in Wahpeton and more recently was employed in Fargo as a sheetmetal worker.
He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, and the Wahpeton Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Mavis, two daughters and one son, Karla, a student at Ohio State University, Kathy, a student at Moorhead State University, and Kyle, a student at Wahpeton High School; his mother, Mrs. Angeline Enochson, Medicine Lake, Mont.; one sister, Mrs. Jerry (Carmen) Neidenhauser, Medicine Lake; and one brother, Jay, Cole Strip, Mont.
Casket bearers are Edward Dahlgren, Jerry McCann, Larry Trittin, Duane Ballweber, LeRoy Edwards, Merle Johnson, Edward Adams and James German.
The American flag will be presented by the VFW and the American Legion.

The Garden of the Christus is located in the Memorial Gardens, which comprises the northern half of the cemetery.
