Obituary
Miss Evenson Funeral Service Held Saturday
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Mooreton Lutheran Church for Miss Edna Lorraine Evenson, 36 who died Wednesday at Rochester, Minn., where she had been employed as a laboratory technician in the Mayo Clinic.
The Rev. H. E. Rasmussen Jr., officiated at the funeral service with Vertin Funeral Home of Wahpeton handling arrangements. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Wahpeton
Pallbearers were Earl Hanson, Howard Hanson, Leslie Bossman, Clarence Halstenson, Hilmar Halstenson and Harry Tveter.
She was born in Wahpeton, January 8, 1921, the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Helmer Evenson. She spent her childhood and attended schools in Mooreton Township and graduated from Wahpeton High School and the State School of Science.
She attended the University of Minnesota and was employed at the University as a laboratory technician before going to work at the Mayo clinic four years ago. She had been in failing health the past 18 months.
Survivors include her parents, three sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Adeline) Beeson, Wahpeton, Mrs. Charles (Irene) Cromwell, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Russell (Doris) Langseth, Minneapolis.
