Obituary
Dr. Harry Evenson
Services for Dr. Harry Evenson, 90, Redwood Falls, Minn. will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Vertin's of Wahpeton Chapel on Tuesday. Dr. Evenson died Friday at Redwood Falls. Rev. Kenneth Nyhusmoen will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is this (Monday) afternoon and evening and tomorrow until the time of services at Vertin's Chapel.
Harry Evenson was born Jan. 28, 1887 at Mooreton, N.D. to Ole Evenson and Mary Anderson. He attended Ohio State University's School of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 1909.
He married Esther Carter on Dec. 22, 1914 at Columbus, Ohio. He worked for the Army as a civilian veterinarian in the Philippine Islands from 1910 to 1914. He worked as a Minnesota State Veterinarian for three years. He moved to Sacred Heart, Minn., where he and his wife lived until his retirement. The couple moved to Redwood Falls, Minn., in 1968.
Dr. Evenson had served two terms on the Minnesota.
He is survived by his wife Esther, Redwood Falls, and several nieces and nephews throughout the Wahpeton-Mooreton area.

Services for Dr. Harry Evenson, 90, Redwood Falls, Minn., were this afternoon at Vertin's of Wahpeton Chapel. He died Friday at Redwood Falls.
Casket bearers were Oliver, Raymond and Robert Evenson, Brian, Mike and Ralph Beeson, Victor and Tom Radig and Lars Oie.
Dr. Evenson had served as mayor of Redwood Falls.
He is survived by his wife, the former Esther Carter, Redwood Falls, and several nieces and nephews in the Wahpeton-Mooreton area.
