Obituary
T. H. Ellisen, Trailer Court Owner Here, Dies
Funeral services for Thomas H. Ellisen of Wahpeton, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from Vertin’s Wahpeton Funeral Chapel. Rev. Frank T. Hirons officiating.
Mr. Ellisen died Wednesday afternoon following a short illness.
Born in Manitoba, Canada, March 12, 1889, Mr. Ellisen came to St John, N.D., with his parents where he was raised. In 1905, he came to Rolla, N.D. Her married Margret Booth, Feb 17, 1914, and they farmed near Rolla for 37 years.In 1946, they moved to Fairmount where the couple operated a gas station. They came to Wahpeton in 1947, operating a trailer court and grocery store until the time of his death.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Viola) Bisom of Wahpeton; step-mother, Mrs. Thomas Ellison of Rolla, two sisters, Lavina of Chicago and Ellen Ellison of Rolla, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. Miss Donna Forkner will be the organist.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening at Vertin’s Wahpeton Funeral Chapel and until time of the services at the church.
