Obituary
Ralph Ferguson
Services for Ralph Ferguson, 49, Wahpeton will be Monday morning at 11 at United Methodist Church. Mr. Ferguson died Thursday morning at St. Francis Hospital. Rev. Stanley K. Mueller will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Sunday afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Vertin's of Wahpeton Chapel. There will also be visitation at the church one hour prior to services.
Honorary casket bearers are Bennie Erickson, Ignatius Meyer, Clarence Freitag, Paul Daeger, Donald Kruase, Lowell Larson, Stan Goyman and Arthur Miler.
Active casket bearers are William, Robert and James Singelmann, Ronald Berg, Terry Lehman, Charles Krause, Jerry Mohs and Charles Ehrens.
Ralph Ferguson was born Aug. 4, 1927 at Wahpeton to Edward and Sarah Ellen (Bradford) Ferguson. He attended local schools and on Oct. 9, 1944 he married Clarice Hoffman at Wahpeton. He was employed by Leach and Gamble for a number of years and more recently he was employed by Phillips Fur and Wood Co.
He was a member of United Methodist Church and was Administrator of the Board of Trustees of the church.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Richard, Breckenridge and Gary, Wahpeton; three daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Betty) Krause, Breckenridge, Mrs. Thomas (Barbara) Meyer, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Garland (Kathy) Krause, Wahpeton; eight grandchildren; one brother, Vernon, Minneapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Audrey) Lord, Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Ted (Eileen) Alverson, Cottage Grove, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother and sister.
