Funeral Rites Saturday for Mrs. Ferguson
Pioneer Resident Dies Wednesday At Home Here
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. from Immanuel Lutheran church for Mrs. Minnie Ferguson, 84 ho died at her home in Wahpeton Wednesday morning. Rev. Henry Fry will officiate.
Born May 23, 1864 at Germany Minie Peilke arrived in America in 1881. She was married in 1882 Moses Ferguson at Wahpeton, moving to Abercrombie, later living in Wilkin County.
To this union were born 11 children, 28 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and six great great grand children. Mr. Ferguson preceded her in death July 5, 1922. Surviving are five sons, Edward and Thomas of Wahpeton, James of Breckenridge; Austin of Rothsay, Minn., and Jack of Minneapolis. Five daughters survive, namely Mrs. Annie Gowan, Mrs. Irene Martin and Mrs. Minnie Olson, all of Wahpeton. Mrs. Dora Marten of Breckenridge and Mrs. Mary Ellis, Sedro Wooley, Wash. One son William, precede her in death.
Pallbearers will be Wm. Braun, Robert Matt, Howard Paul, Andy Hausauer, Henry Holthusen and John Hinds. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery.
