Frank Forman Rites Thursday In Wahpeton
Pioneer Resident Dies Tuesday At Home In City
Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at the Church of God by Rev. Castile for Frank Forman, aged 74, who died Tuesday morning at his home in this city.
Frank Forman was born in Cedar Rapids, Ia., the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Forman, who came to this locality when he was a lad of eight years. They settled a few miles south of Wahpeton and farmed there in pioneer days.
He married Anna Shebeck in 1896 and to them were born four children of whom three survive. They are Mrs. Alta Heine of St. Paul; Roman Forman of this city, and Mrs. Jos. Van Sickel of Akron, O., (Nellie Forman), One daughter, Mrs. Roy K. Reed of Eugene, Ore., died three years ago. Mrs. Forman resides with her daughter in Akron. Mr. Forman worked as a carpenter in this city for many years.
