Obituary
O. Franwfurth Funeral Services In City Tuesday
Otto John Frankfurt, 68, retired Great Northern dock foreman, died Saturday morning at St. Francis hospital where he had been a patient four days.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Foss Methodist church here with B. B. Curtis officiating. Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery. Schmitt-Poulton Funeral pome of Wahpeton is in charge of funeral arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Herbert Miller, Allois Wieser, Arthur Parker, Erling Moen, Elroy Sikorski and Joe Bracken.
He was born September 27, 1889 in Wisconsin and when four years old moved with his parents to Sauk Centre, Minn. They came to Hankinson in 1894, where he attended schools and grew to young manhood.
He and Matilda Nelson were married in Wahpeton December 29, 1913. In 1919 they came to Wahpeton when he began work for the Great Northern Railroad where he was employed until his retirement in 1953.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Otto of Hillsboro, N. D., Vernon of Starbuck, Minn., and Mryon of Wahpeton; two daughters, Mrs. William (Delving) Haring of Wahpeton and Mrs. Alfred (Caroline) Bishop of Billings, Mont.; a brother, Rudolph of Ashley, N. D.; a sister, Mrs. Emma Mathieson of Story City, Iowa; and 11 grandchildren.
