Obituary
Merlin Friskop Dies Sunday
Funeral services for Merlin Friskop, 47, will be held Wednesday, March 4, at 2 p.m., at Wyndmere Lutheran Church with Rev. Waldemar Anderson officiating. He died Sunday, March 1, at St. Francis Hospital in Breckenridge.
A prayer service will be held at Dahlstrom Funeral Home at Milnor Tuesday at 8 p.m.
Mr. Friskp was born July 6, 1922. He resided in Wyndmere Township where he was engaged in farming. He was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church in DeLamere, N. Dad. He married Dorothy Strom, June 2, 1945, at Fergus Falls, Minn. To this union four children were born.
He is survived by his wife; and children, one daughter and three sons, Mrs. Milton (Connie) Johnson of Oakland, Calif., James Kenneth and Mark at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Friskop of Wyndmere.
Two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Lester (Gladys) Deike of Wahpeton, Mrs. Jerone (Marlys) Johnson of Wadena, Minn., Arvid of Wahpeton and Harold of Wyndmere.
He was preceded death by two brothers.
