Obituary
Mrs. Charles Gira Dies Saturday; Funeral Friday
Mrs. Charles (Roberta) Gira, 19, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Matt, Wahpeton died Saturday at Colorado Springs, Colo., after becoming seriously ill with an attack of asthma. She has been an asthma sufferer for many years.
Born August 30, 1936 in center township, she graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1954. She married Mr. Gira, Nov. 12, 1954 in Colorado Springs where they had lived since.
Besides her husband, she leaves a five-week-old daughter Debra Lynn and her parents.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. from Schmitt-Poulton Funeral Home and 2:30 in Immanuel Lutheran church here with Rev. Henry Fry officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Willard Onchuck, LaVerne Simdorn, Roy Foerisch, Richard Dickerson, Hebert Mohs and Victor Fry.
Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening in Schmitt-Poulton chapel.
