E. C. Gordon Dies Monday at Home in Brandenburg
Funeral Services To Be Conducted Friday Afternoon from Breckenridge church
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the Methodist church in Breckenridge for Earl C. Gordon, Brandenburg township farmer who passed away at his home on Monday evening at 7:30. Mr. Gordon was seated in his home listening to the radio when he suddenly toppled from the chair dead. He has farmed in Wahpeton and Breckenridge vicinity for the past twenty-four yeas and is well known in this vicinity. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery, Wahpeton.
He was born April 30, 1896, at Baraboo, Wisconsin. With the exception of two years at Hewitt, Minn., he has farmed in this territory for the past twenty-four years. He has been in Brandenburg township for the past eleven years. He leaves a wife, two daughters and four sons to mourn his passing. The children are Aileen, Earl C. Jr., Kenneth, Walter and George all of Great Bend and Mrs. Fred Kittlesland of Mollette, S.D.
