Obituary
Mrs. M. Gordon Dies Wednesday at Hospital
Mrs. Martha Gordon, aged 81, died Wednesday evening in St. Francis hospital. She had been making her home in local nursing homes the past four and a half years; she would have reached her 82nd birthday in August.
The Gordons are longtime residents of this area, her husband, Earl Gordon farming here before his death in 1937. She was also preceded in death by a son, Frank, who was drowned in the Red River as a young lad and a daughter who died in infancy.
Surviving are two sons, Walter and Earl who resident in Wahpeton and two sons, Kenneth and George, residing at Long Beach. Daughters are Miss Aileen Gordon, of St. Paul, and Mrs. Fred (Jessie) Kettleland, of Mellette, S. D.
Funeral arrangements will be made through Schmitt and Poulton Funeral Home.
