Obituary
Anna Gallmeyer
The funeral for Mrs. Herman (Anna) Gallmeyer, 79, of Wahpeton was Monday afternoon at Vertin's Wahpeton Funeral Home with Rev. F. C. Schmitt from Grace Lutheran Church, Breckenridge, officiating. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Mrs. Gallmeyer died Friday at the Wahpeton Rehabilitation Center.
Organist was Mrs. Alfred Koppelman.
Casket bearers were Carl Denow, C.F. Gannon, Gilbert Schlotfeldt, Arnold Puetz, Robert Mellem, and Ivan Mellem.
Anna Wolters was born Dec. 8, 1895 at Algona, Ia. to Herman and Minnie Wolters.
She married Herman C. Gallmeyer Nov. 5, 1913 at Mooreton. The couple farmed at Barney and moved into Wyndmere in 1927. He died Aug. 19, 1963 and she moved to Wahpeton.
Survivors are a son, Alvin, of Eugene, Ore.; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two brothers, Arnold of Osage, Minn., and Arthur of McArthur, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Vera) Meyer.
