Obituary
Carl Gast, Breck, Dies
Carl Gast, 57, 731 N. 12th St., Breckenridge died Wednesday night at St. Francis Hospital. He had been ill for several years.
Funeral services were from Grace Lutheran Church, Breckenridge. Rev. F. C. Schnadt officiating at a time and date to be announced. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens Wahpeton.
Mr. Gast was born June 4, 1989 at Tyler, N.D., the parents of Albert and Meta Gast. He was raised in the Tyler area and attended schools in Tyler.
Mr. Gast was married to Viola Tischer on May 9, 1939 at St John’s Lutheran Church in Tyler. They farmed near Tyler until 1953 when they moved to Breckenridge.
He leaves his wife; one son Donald of Moorhead, one daughter, Mrs. Galen (Donna) Myers of Amenia, N.D., two grandchildren and four brothers, Robert of Milwaukee, Wis., John of Tyler, Alfred of Mankato, Minn., Ernest of Fargo; and one sister, Mrs. George (Marie) Lehman of Fargo.
Visitation will be Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday until noon at Vertin’s Wahpeton Chapel.
