Obituary
Rites Monday at Bethel for Mrs. E Hanson
Funeral Services for Mrs. Eric Hanson, 63, who died Wednesday morning at St. Francis hospital, will be held Monday afternoon at two o’clock from Bethel Lutheran church. Rev. P.A. Gisvold will officiate at the last rites and internment will be at Fairview cemetery. Vertin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Olga Domholt was born in Worth County, Iowa, May 9, 1893, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Torsten Domholt. She came to North Dakota with her parents at the age of ten and they settled at Wyndmere where she attended school and grew to womanhood. She was confirmed in Lutheran church at DeLamere.
She was married to John Marohl and they lived at Morristown, SD., returning to Wyndmere in 1918.
Later she married Eric Hanson and they lived in Wahpeton until 1951 when they moved to Breckenridge. During her residence in the two cities, Mrs. Hanson was a member of the Bethel Lutheran church and active in the Ladies Aid. She entered St. Francis hospital for surgery and her death was unexpected.
She is survived by her husband, Eric Hanson and son Charles, who is known as “Butch”. She is also survived by the following sons and daughters, Palmer Marohl, Mrs. Carl Jensen (Crystal), Mrs. Wm. Olson (Fern), all of Wahpeton and Raymond Marohl, Breckenridge. There are 15 grandchildren. Stepchildren are Mrs. James Adams, Breckenridge, Fern, Mrs. Orville Lindel, Ames, Iowa, Elder and Vern Hanson of Rock Island, Il.
Brothers and sisters are Oscar and Henry Domholt of Oakland, Melvin Domholt of Anaconda, Mont., Mrs. Einjer Osander, Seattle; Mrs. Leonard Nulph, Wyndmere; Gilman Domholt, White Hall, Mont., Mrs. Clinton Lund, Virginia, Minn., and Clarence Domholt, Wyndmere.
