Mrs. Olaf Hedman Dies Here Friday
Funeral Services To Be Conducted Tuesday Afternoon from Bethel Lutheran Church
Mrs. Olaf Hedman, well known here and in the Mooreton vicinity, passed away at her home at 419 Second Street South, Friday morning. She had been ill since last spring. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon from Bethel Lutheran church.
Signora Peterson Hedman was born to Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Leines of Sannesjoe, Helgeland, Norway on October 6, 1886. She came with her parents to Bejou, Minnesota in the spring of 1893, where she grew into womanhood.
In the spring of 1907, she was united in marriage to John Peterson of Mooreton, N.D. To This union ten children were born.
In the fall of 1931 she was re-married to Olaf Hedman of Wahpeton where she lied until her death December 24, 1937.
She was preceded in death by her father, Olaf Leines, one brother, two sisters and one daughter, Marjorie.
She leaves to mourn her passing her mother, Mrs. Pauline Leines of Bejou, Minnesota; her husband Olaf Hedman of Wahpeton; her nine children: Pearl Peterson of Fergus Falls, Minnesota; Reynold Peterson of Lewiston, Idaho; Mrs. Ruby De Arment of Sisseton, S. Dak.; Mrs. Eunice Chezik of Wahpeton; Myrtle, Clifford, LeRoy, Delton and Fern Peterson, all of Wahpeton, N. Dak., also seven brothers, two sisters and five grandchildren.
