Fatally Injured While Starting Car Wednesday
Shock Effects Heart of Henry Hendrikson. Prominent Nielson Township Farmer
Henry N. Hendrickson, prominent Nielson township farmer, living 12 miles north of Breckenridge suffered fatal injuries when he attempted to start a balky car on the street in Breckenridge Wednesday afternoon. Hendrickson had tried to crank the car and it did not start. He raised the hood and touched the ignition wires. A shock affected his heart and cause him to faint upon the pavement.
He was born February 26, 50 years ago in Ottertail county, Minn., and came to Nielson township in 1895. He has been on the town board of that township for several years. He married Bertha Schneider of Fergus Falls at Fergus Falls in 1916 and two children Violet and Harold survive him. Two brothers, Swan of Miles City, Mont., and Louie of Foxhome, three sisters Annie of Mareia, Cal., Bertha of Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Frank Szymansky, of Malta, Mont., also survive.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed but probably will be held on Monday and interment will be in Wahpeton. The body lies in state in the Vertin Funeral Chapel.
