Julius Hudson
Funeral services for Julius W. Hudson, 82, dent, men, formally of Wahpeton will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Vertin's-Wahpeton Chapel with the Rev. Marvin L. Hartmann officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wahpeton.
Mr. Hudson died Wednesday at his Star Lake home.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday until time of services at Vertin's-Wahpeton. Casket bearers are James Snider, Donald Krook, Harvey Grinager, William Junge, Earl Oliver and Leonard Johansson. Special music will be by Lyle Jacobson.
Julius Hudson was born Dec. 27, 1892 to William and Jane Hudson and Medalia, Minn. He grew up in Medalia and Mankato, Minn. On Aug. 27, 1919 he married Manda Grinager at Brainerd.
They lived in Lisbon for about 20 years and moved to Wahpeton in 1942 where he worked as a building contractor. He retired twenty years ago.
Survivors are his wife, Manda; a daughter, Joyce (Mrs. Ivan) Mitzel, Brainerd; a son, Cyril, Wahpeton; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ada (Mrs. Aaron) Pitts, Madelia. He was proceeded in death by two sons, Clyde and Kenneth.
