Clyde Hudson, Young Farmer Dies Monday
Funeral Services Held Thursday From Wahpeton Church
Clyde William Hudson, 30 year old farmer of rural Wahpeton, died Thursday at the St. Francis hospital in Breckenridge after an 18 months illness. He had been at the hospital only one day when he died.
Mr. Hudson was born July 1, 1920 at Breckenridge and was living at the farm home in Dwight township. He had lived in Richland county all his life. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Hudson. He was confirmed at Elliott Lutheran church in 1940 at Elliott, N.D.
Surviving besides his parents are one brother, Cyril of Wahpeton, one sister, Mrs. Ivan Mitzel (Joyce) of Breckenridge; two nieces and two nephews.
Funeral services were held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Bethel Lutheran church in Wahpeton with Rev. P. A. Gisvold officiating. Burial was made in the Fairview cemetery here.
The Vertin Funeral home of Wahpeton were in charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers were: Lyle Mitzel, Floyd Mitzel, Robert Cade, Floyd Cade, Bernard Baker and Darrel Marquardt.
