Funeral Services For Ed. W. Hunt Held Saturday

Baker at Naval Station Is Victim of Heart Attack On Tuesday Evening

Funeral services were held for Edward W. Hunt from the Vertin Funeral chapel Thursday afternoon at two. The Rev. Ross B. Hartman officiated. Mrs. H. B. Paul offered musical selections. Pallbearers were Naval Station trainees from the station where Mr. Hunt was employed as pastry baker.

Edward W. Hunt was born in Broadhead, Wisconsin, February 6, 1883. He passed away at the St. Mary hospital Tuesday night due to acute heart failure. He had been employed at the U.S. Naval station since last June 1st as a pastry maker. He was taken to the hospital Monday morning, where he passed away. He leaves to mourn his wife, Flora Hunt. His father preceded him in death three years ago.

Burial was made in Fairview cemetery Thursday afternoon. His passing will be seriously felt out at the Naval training station as he did all the baking for over 500 trainees now stationed there.
