Obituary
F. W. Hasse, Wilkin County Farmer, Dies; Rites Held
Funeral services for Federick W. Hasse, 56, a rural Wilkin County farmer, were held today (Monday) at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Wahpeton, with Rev. Myron Voegele. Mr. Hasse died Thursday at his farm home in Champion Township.
Mr. Hasse was born Nov 25, 1911 in Champion Township, Wilkin County. He was raised there and attended schools in the community. He farmed all his life. He was married to Agnes Miller Nov. 17, 1937 at Nashua Minn., and they always lived there.
He was a deacon of his church, the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Wahpeton.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Curtis (DeVota) Mecklenburg of Wichita, Kans.; two grandchildren; four brothers, Arthur and Albert of Campbell Ernest of Wheaton and Elmer of Battle Lake; and five sisters, Mrs. Grover (Louise) Dupree of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Richard (Lydia) Kath of Breckenridge, Mrs. Herbert (Christine) Brown of Kearney, Neb., Mrs. Burnett (Mable) Mohagen of Wendell, Minn., and Mrs. Lucille Wehrenberg of Fergus Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Interment was in Fairview Memorial Garden, Wahpeton.
