Henry Hendrickson
COLFAX, N.D. - Services for Henry A. Hendrickson, 79, of Colfax will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church here with Rev. Otto Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hendrickson died Wednesday of an apparent heart attack.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 p.m. through the evening at Vertin's Wahpeton West Chapel with a prayer service at 7 p.m. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
Casket bearers are Edward Moen, Jr., Hjalmer Hendrickson, Darrell Hendrickson, Norman Fiske, Clair Hudson, Frederick Dichraff, Lester Bolstad and Gerald Stubson.
Henry A. Hendrickson was born April 11, 1899 at Colfax to Lauritz and Marie (Peterson) Hendrickson. He spent his entire life in the area.
He married Esther Mauseth Oct. 6, 1922 at Colfax and the couple farmed in Nansen and Abercrombie Townships.
He was a member of Our Savior's Men's Club.
Survivors are his wife; two sons, Lavern and Merlin of Colfax; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Leva) Moen and Betty Hendrickson of Colfax; two brothers, Adolph of Esksata, Wash., and Lafe of San Jose, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, and one brother.
