Obituary
Rites Held Today For W. B. Huseth, 65, Wahpeton
Walter B. Huseth, 65, resident of Wahpeton since 1951, died Monday at a local hospital after a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held Thursday from Vertin’s-Wahpeton Chapel. Rev. Everett C. H Owens officiating. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Born Nov. 10, 1907 at Mt. Horeb, Wis., Mr. Huseth came with his parents to Fargo about 1900. He worked for Griggs-Cooper as a saleman for 35 years. The past five years he worked for a cigar firm out of St. Paul.
He was married June 29, 1951, Mrs. Myrtle Walters Johnson at Breckenridge and they have since resided at Wahpeton. Mrs. Huseth operates the Minette Beauty Salon
Surviving are his wife; two daughters by a previous marriage, Mrs. Gail (Gladys) Tangye, Seattle, Wash., a step-son Edwin Johnston, Milwaukee, Wis., and a step-daughter, Mrs. Verne (Arlene) Fluto, Fargo; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Two brothers, Adolph, formerly of Fargo, now of Minneapolis and Ray of Fargo.
Two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
Organist was Mrs. F. D. Brown and vocalists were Mrs. William Haring, Mrs. Harold Bulbs, Mrs. Ralph Ferguson and Mrs. S. C. Lucas.
Pallbearers were Thomas Manikowski, W. Cyrus Anderson, Leo Kjellerup, Glenn Peterson, Edgar Rowland and Harold Diederich.
