Obituary
Albin Isackson, 69, Retired Area Farmer Dies
Allen Iscakson, 69, Wahpeton, retired Colfax area farmer, died Saturday at St. Francis hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Vertin’s-Wahpeton Chapel, Rev. Hans Upstad officiating. Interment will be at Fairview cemetery.
Albin Iscakson was born Feb. 4, 1894, in Nansen township, near Colfax, the son of Otto and Anna Osackson.
Mr. Isackson farmed in the Colfax area until 1946 when he retired and moved to Wahpeton. Three months ago, he became a resident of the St Francis Home, Breckenridge. He had never married.
Survivors include a brother, Henning Isackson, Colfax. He was preceded in death by one brother, Gust, and one sister, Mrs. Simon (Hilma) Hammer.
Organist will be Mrs. Arthur F. Johnson and vocalists will be Steve Wateland and Archie Isackson. Pallbearers will be Melvin Halvorson, Orton Halvorson Oscar Lee, Reuben Johnson, Archie Isackson and Harlan Zarling.
