Rites Saturday For Mrs. Isackson At Bethel Church
Pioneer Resident Dies Wednesday at St. Mary Hospital
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Isackson, aged 82, who died Wednesday at St. Mary hospital, will be held Saturday at two o’clock from Bethel Lutheran church and interment will be in Fairview cemetery. Rev. P. A. Gisvold will officiate at the funeral service.
Mrs. Isackson and her two oldest children came from Sweden to join Mr. Isackson who had preceded them to this country and homesteaded in Nansen township west of Galchutt. Mrs. Isakson resided on the farm there for 54 years, coming to Wahpeton three years ago to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Simon Hammer. For the past two years she had been bedridden and Monday was taken to the hospital.
She leaves four children, Mrs. Simon Hammer and Gust Isackson, of this city, and Albin and Henning Isackson, west of Galchutt.
