MRS. ISACKSON FUNERAL HELD HERE FRIDAY Well Known Wahpeton Woman Dies at Home Last Week

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Gust Isackson who died Friday of last. Tuesday afternoon at one o’clock at the home, 315 first street north and at the Bethel Lutheran church at two o’clock. The churched was filled with sorrowing friends and neighbors who came to pay their last respect to their departed friend.

Mrs. Isackson was a devout Christian, a kind, loving mother and a devoted wife and those who are left to mourn her passing feel a loss that cannot be replaced.

Alma Elina Leinau was born Nov. 19, 1885, being at her death nearly 42 years old. She was united in marriage to Gust Isackson at Galchutt Feb. 21, 1912. Mrs. Isackson is survived by her husband and three children, Orvile, age 14; Adelaide, age 12 and Viola, age 4. A son Ervin preceded her in death. Besides her husband and childred the seceased is survived by four brothers, three sisters and her aged mother, Mrs. Erick Leinau. The brothers are Erick of Minot, Lewis and Elmer of Milnor, and Albert of Schobe Mont. The sisters are Mrs. Carl Peterson of Colfax, Mrs. John Krantz of Superior, Wis., and Mrs. Albert Frantz who has been at the Isackson home during her sister’s illness. Pallbearers were L. L. Brusletten, Erick Burnson, John Mathieson, George Hedner, Oscar Anderson and John Halvorson.
Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
